Weekly Newsletter: October 20, 2015

Dear Parents,

Thank you for coming out for conferences last week! It was wonderful to set down with each of you and share how your children are doing. I am very proud of the progress they are making.

  • This week in literacy our theme is Cities and Fall. We will be reviewing many concepts this week that we have been learning.
  • We are reviewing short a and i sounds in spelling. Please help your child study at home for their spelling tests.
  • In math, we are beginning our unit on story problems.
  • We are going to be working on a narrative in writing that connects to our social studies about living in America.
